Amazing American Artwork in Phoenix

While the marvels of the modern-day world are quite incredible, it’s important to also focus on the traditions and history from which we came from, from those who have cultivated and sewn the seeds of our current American society. Our luxury apartments at the Ingleside have no shortage of museums nearby to immerse yourself in human history and culture, though one in particular gives credit to those who don’t often share the limelight, but hold fascinating glimpses of the world around them.

The Heard Museum is an art gallery purely dedicated to the past, present, and future artwork of Native American tribes, including local artworks from Arizonian tribes that faithfully depict their culture and beliefs. As of today, there are twelve unique art exhibits and over 44,000 works, with several others in storage or on limited time exhibitions. Explore the vast beauty of each exhibit alone or with a complimentary tour guide, such as the lovely metalworks of The Third Dimension, the old paintings and murals of the indigenous tribes of Canada and the Pacific Northwest in A Land North, or the solemn American Indian Veterans National Memorial dedicated to Native Americans who fought in this nations’ greatest wars. There are also special exhibits, such as the Still Life No. 3: timed light and sound exhibition, that cycle throughout the season, meaning that there’s always something new to see upon every visit. Best of all, it’s only seven miles from our luxury apartments, a mere twenty-minute drive away.

Witness the wonder of Native American culture and ideals first hand at The Ingleside. Venture through the Heard Museum and our Phoenix luxury apartments for your next weekend adventure.
